Andrea del Verrocchio, The Virgin and Child with Two Angels, Oil on panel, 1476-78
The right-hand angel has been attributed to Verrocchio’s pupil Lorenzo di Credi.
Other notable pupils of his include Pietro Perugino and Leonardo da Vinci.
